Sunset Beach Shoot | Megan & Daniel | Los Cabos, Mexico

I recently returned from a trip to Cabo for spring break and it was absolutely AMAZING. Every day was spent basking in the sunshine next to the ocean with a happy hour margarita in my hand. In other words, I was livin' my best life!   It was just the break I needed before heading into my last few weeks of college. The best part was that my boyfriend and I got to go with some of our best friends, Megan & Daniel!

Andrea & Simon | Paris, France

Last spring, when I studied abroad in Paris, I got to meet a super cool chick who was a graduate student at my French university. From the very first day of orientation, Andrea was so sweet to me and introduced me to all of her friends! I soon learned that Andrea was from Mexico and had the coolest story of how she ended up in Paris. During her semester abroad, she met a dashing Parisian guy in one of her classes. It was love at first sight and she ended up staying in Paris to continue her education and be with him! Together, they have an adorable little puppy, spend their free time traveling the world, and even go to Mexico to visit Andrea's family!

Besties Take Europe | Study Abroad Week 8 | Bruges and Brussels, Belgium & Paris, France

You know you have a great friend when they buy a plane ticket to visit you in Paris before you've even boughten your own flight! My friend Kacy flew all the way to Paris for her spring break and we had such a fun week together! Before she arrived, I gave Kacy very specific instructions on how to get from the huge Charles de Gaulle airport, to my apartment on the other side of the city. Little did she know that I was actually planning on surprising her at the airport! I learned though that surprising people at the airport isn't as easy as it sounds, especially when you don't have phone service!

My House in Buda or Pest? | Study Abroad Week 7 | Budapest, Hungary

During week 7 of studying abroad, I had my normal classes in Paris during the week, and then headed to Budapest for a short weekend getaway! Budapest was a city that I had heard so much about, but didn’t know exactly what to expect. After spending just three short days there, it instantly became one of my favorite European cities that I’ve traveled to thus far! The weather was gorgeous, the sights were awesome, and the overall vibe of the city was so laid-back! One of the coolest things about Budapest is the thermal baths (see iPhone pictures below!)

3 Countries. 1 Week. Let's Go! | Study Abroad Weeks 3 & 4 | Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris

Hey there! So, this post is just a weeee bit late (okay like 2 weeks late) but it’s because I was in 3 different countries within one week, so I had a ton of pictures to compile together! In Europe, there’s this incredible thing called “ski break.” It’s just like what it sounds like; basically everyone takes a week off to go skiing! Unfortunately, I don’t know how to ski, but you can bet that I took the opportunity to check some places off my travel bucket list!

Winning London | Study Abroad Week 2 | London, England

A lot of fun things happened in Paris this last week, but those stories will have to wait for another day because I want to dedicate this blog post to my little weekend trip to London with my boyfriend, Mark! We have been dating for 6 and a ½ years (hehe yes we were just beginning high school!) and have always loved traveling together. He is also spending the semester studying abroad, but in Madrid, Spain. While not being together on a daily basis is definitely a change for us, it is so fun meeting up in different European cities! London got the privilege of being our first city in Europe together and it was really one of the best weekends ever! We both just loved the city. The architecture was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the people were so friendly! It was also nice to be in an English speaking country for a couple of days :P

Not All Who Wander Are Lost (but sometimes you actually are lost) | Study Abroad Week 1 | Paris, France

Bonjour from Paris!! Wow… I still can’t even believe that I’m living in Paris! It’s so surreal to be here and I’m not sure when, or if, it will ever settle in! First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who wished me safe travels and have supported me in my quest to study abroad. It was not an easy task arranging everything for this trip, but it has already been SO worth all of the stress and uncertainty. I’m really living a dream here and I am so excited to share my experiences and photos with everyone back home!

24 Hours in the City | Chicago

As winter break is coming to end, I'm trying to cram in as much as I possibly can before classes start again. One thing that was absolutely necessary was a trip to Chicago to visit my beautiful friend and Chi Omega sister, Megan! So what's the best thing to do when you have 24 hours in the Windy City? A photo shoot of course!
