Meghan + Colin | A Timeless October Wedding | Kokomo
It's not very often that one gets to capture two weddings of two sisters in ONE YEAR! This past June, I captured Melissa's gorgeous rustic wedding, where I met her maid of honor and younger sister, Meghan, who was also getting married that year! We hit it off and shortly after the wedding, I became Meghan's wedding photographer as well! It was so fun to see their parents again, and meet Melissa's adorable little baby, Brody! To make this story even better, Melissa and Meghan both married men with "C" names -- Corey and Colin! This family has had a very exciting year and it was such a joy getting to know them and capture these milestones for them!
Meghan & Colin's wedding day was just perfect; perfect weather, perfect venue; perfect couple. They were married on October 29th, 2016 at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Kokomo, Indiana. When I first met this lovely pair, I knew they had something special, a natural chemistry. Their wedding was testament to that chemistry and I hope you enjoy getting a glimpse into their magical day!
Meghan was a stunning bride and her bridesmaids looked just gorgeous in their plum dresses!
Hmm.. this looks familiar! There's a shot just like this from Melissa's wedding!
Colin and his groomsmen looked dashing in their gray suits and were such a fun group to photograph !
Before their wedding day, Meghan & Colin wrote special letters for each other. We found a corner on the outside of the church so that they could read the letters at the same time, without seeing each other before the ceremony.
And then... they were husband and wife!
I think Meghan & Colin are part-time models, because seriously, they are such a beautiful couple! Colin kept kissing Meghan every chance he got during their bride and groom pictures and it was obvious that he's just so in love with his bride.
A highlight of the day was definitely getting to ride in the party limo with the wedding party!
The reception was held at Bel-Air Events, a gorgeous venue decorated to perfection with silver and plum accents. There were chandeliers everywhere, a double staircase for a grand entrance, and a twinkly, golden backdrop to light up the head table. The shots during the toasts and first dances are definitely some of my favorite reception shots ever!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Zwiebel! I'm so happy that our paths crossed and I was able to be a part of your special day. I know that you two are going to have a wonderful future together!
